Your agreement with Roost

This is the agreement between you and Roost. You agree to it once, before you ask a caregiver for visits, and it covers every booking you make.

Last updated 6 October 2026.

Who this agreement is between

You and Roost Holdings Inc. Nobody else.

It binds the person using the account who agreed to it, and Roost Holdings Inc. Each person in a family who asks for visits agrees to it themselves.

The rate

Roost sets the hourly rate for your area. It is the same for every caregiver, and you see the rate and the total for a booking before you ask for visits.

The rate you were shown is fixed for that booking from the moment it is confirmed. A new rate reprices nothing you have already booked.

Cancelling a visit

The cancellation terms for a booking are shown to you before you ask for visits, and they are fixed on the booking once it is confirmed, so both sides are looking at the same words afterwards. Every cancellation is recorded.

What you are charged, and when

Nothing is charged when you choose a caregiver or send an offer. A visit is charged after it has happened, to the card you saved, and each charge comes with a receipt that lists the date, the caregiver, the hours, the rate and the total.

Changes to this agreement

When this agreement changes, you are asked to agree to the new version in the app before the change applies to you. An acceptance records the version you were shown, so what you agreed to always has one answer.
